Aogashima, Tokyo

Aogashima (Japanese青ヶ島 村, -mura ) is a village on the homonymous island in the Japanese prefecture of Tokyo.

Geography

The village is no district ( gun) and assigned to the smallest independent community in Japan. It is located 358 km south of Tokyo.

Traffic

Called from the harbor Aogashima (青ヶ島 港), and Sampo- port (三宝 港), runs every day except Sunday at the Passenger Ship kanju -maru (还 住 丸) the Yaenekō port (八 重 根 渔港) in Hachijo on the homonymous island.
