Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest

The Apache - Sitgreaves National Forest is a national forest in the United States. There are two 8,000 km ² large forest areas, which extend along the Mogollon chain and the White Mountains in eastern Arizona and into New Mexico. It is managed by the Forest Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Springerville. The highest elevation in the park is Mount Baldy ( 3,500 m). To the east of the park on the border with New Mexico, the Gila National Forest adjoins. In the grounds of the Mexican wolf was reintroduced.
