Aperanat

Aperanat, also written Aper - anat, actually Aper -en- a- ti, is the proper name of an ancient Egyptian king or prince small the Second Intermediate Period (ca. 1650-1550 BC), who previously but not precisely classify within this period leaves.

Aperanat is only known from a single seal. He bears the title Heka - chasut, which translates to " ruler of foreign lands " means and which is derived the word Hyksos. The position of Aperanat is controversial. Ryholt sees him tentatively as the second ruler of the 15th Dynasty, but points out that Heka - chasut, with one exception, is never connected to the royal titulary and these people tend officials, and no kings were, as is often assumed. From Beckerath sees him as a small king who ruled in southern Palestine and reads the name "User - anat ".
