Apollon 1926 F.C.

Apollon Kalamarias (Greek Απόλλων Καλαμαριάς ) is a Greek football club from the eponymous district of Thessaloniki, Kalamaria, currently playing in the third highest league in Greece.

The club Apollon Kalamarias was founded in 1926 by Asia Minor refugees in Kalamaria, one located in the southwest of the city of Thessaloniki suburb. The first notable success was the club in the season 1957/58 when he won the Macedonian regional championship.

Play their home games at the Stadio Apollon Kalamarias from Kalamarias, which is in the same municipality. The 7000 -capacity stadium is owned by the association and was during the 2004 Olympic Games training venue for the competitions in football.
