Apollonia 6

Apollonia 6 was a girl group who was made famous by the film Purple Rain by Prince. Members of Apollonia 6 were Patricia Kotero ( Apollonia ), Brenda Bennett and Susan Moonsey. Brenda Bennett and Susan Moonsey were previously members of the girl group Vanity 6 ( 1982-1983 ). Vanity ( Denise Matthews) but was replaced by Apollonia Kotero and Prince as Vanity 6 was renamed Apollonia 6, Jill Jones and Wendy and Lisa have collaborated on the single LP Apollonia 6 as background singers.

The success came shortly after the start of the film Purple Rain, however, was not to last. Brenda Bennett and Susan Moonsey retired now completely out of the music business, while Apollonia launched a solo career and also has worked as an actress.

Apollonia 6 was very generous for that time, the three ladies were most like to underwear. In Germany they came, inter alia, live in the music show on Formula One.
