Apomixis

Apomixis is a form of reproduction in which no meiosis and no fusion of gametes occur. It is an asexual reproduction. The offspring are genetically identical to the parent.

This definition of apomixis, the 1908 goes back to Hans Winkler, includes both asexual reproduction through seed formation ( agamospermy ) as well as vegetative propagation, apogamy and parthenogenesis.

Many authors use the term apomixis in a narrower definition of angiosperms and the exclusion of vegetative propagation. Apomixis is then equivalent to agamospermy. In this sense, most apomictically and Apomikt for an apomictic plant or species used.
