Apophyge

The structural engineering term sequence refers to the curved concave connecting to a projecting upper part. This profile is (Greek fleeing, lack of it) also called Apophyge Apophysis or Apothesis. The corresponding connection to a projecting lower part is called the contrast up. Both are usually combined with the small plate, a narrow vertical strip that is inserted between input and outflow and the protruding part.
