Apostolic Prefecture of Ulaanbaatar
The Apostolic Prefecture of Ulaanbaatar (Latin: Praefectura Apostolica Ulaanbaatarensis ) is a location in Mongolia Roman Catholic Apostolic Prefecture in Ulaanbaatar.
History
The Apostolic Prefecture of Ulaanbaatar was born on March 14, 1922 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution In catholicae Ecclesiae out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Inner Mongolia as a mission sui juris Outer Mongolia. 1924, the mission sui juris Outer Mongolia was in mission sui juris Urga renamed.
The mission sui juris Urga was raised on 8 July 2002 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution De universa catholica to Apostolic Prefecture and renamed as Apostolic Prefecture of Ulaanbaatar.
