The Apostolic Vicariate of Gambella (Latin apostolicus Vicariatus Gambellensis ) is located in Ethiopia Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with its headquarters in Gambella.

History

The Apostolic Vicariate of Gambella was established on 16 November 2000 by Pope John Paul II in the Apostolic Prefecture of territory Jimma Bonga as Apostolic Prefecture of Gambella. On 5 December 2009, the Apostolic Prefecture of Gambella was by Pope Benedict XVI. elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.
