Apostolic Vicariate of Meki

The Apostolic Vicariate of Meki (Latin apostolicus Vicariatus Mekiensis ) is located in Ethiopia Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with its headquarters in Meki.

History

Pope John Paul II founded the Apostolic Prefecture Meki on September 8, 1981 from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Harar.

On 21 December 1991 she was elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.
