Origin and History

The Appenzell Mountain Dog is one of the Bauer dogs. The dogs have developed here together with the local peasant economy in shape and Swiss farmers and shepherds for ( and by ) has become what it represents today: they are good keeper and driver of the cattle, and guards suitable. Description
