Apple Lisa#Software
Lisa OS (Lisa Office System) was one of the first operating systems with a fully graphical user interface.
It was used in 1983 exclusively on the Apple Lisa Apple. It brought simple multitasking and virtual memory to use, then extremely advanced features for a personal computer. However, the use of virtual memory, together with the relatively slow floppy disk system made the system performance seem sometimes very slow. Conceptually, LISA OS was inspired by the Xerox Star system. Lisa had two Benutzungsmodi: the graphical Office system and the text-based workshop.
The workshop was an almost entirely text- based programming environment, but an editor with a graphical user interface began.
The Office System came with a spreadsheet program ( LisaCalc and LisaList ), a program for creating graphics (Lisa graph ), a project management tool with built-in Program Evaluation and Review Technique / Gantt chart (Lisa Project), a drawing program ( LisaDraw ) and optionally a DEC VT / ANSI terminal emulator (Lisa terminal).
