Incorporation ( Incorporatio, "incorporation, incorporation " ) is in the legal sense, the inclusion of a legal association to another, namely

In the sense of international law for the arrival or inclusion of a state or territory to another state (→ annexation );
In the sense of German constitutional law for the incorporation of a federal state or a portion thereof to another;
Within the meaning of the German municipal law for the incorporation of a municipality or a part of another municipality (→ incorporation );
In canon law integrate or assignment of an ecclesiastical benefice, usually a parish church to another religious institution, often a monastery or cathedral chapter (→ incorporation (church) ).
