Aq Sunqur al-Hajib

Qasim ad - Dawla Abu Said Aq- Sunqur al - Hadschib was a Turkish Mamluk emir, the Seljuk Sultan Malik Shah from I (reigned 1072-1092 ) was raised in 1086 as governor of Aleppo. His famous son of Zengi established the Zengids Dynasty.

Aq- Sunqur al - Hadschib was as governor of Aleppo, to attenuate the destructive ambitions Tutuschs I., brother of Malik Shah and ruler in Damascus. He accompanied Tutusch than this in 1093 by the Seljuk power attacked in, but betrayed him with another commander named Bozan (of Edessa ) and ran over to Sultan Berk - Yaruq (r. 1092/4-1105 ). Then conquered Tutusch 1094 Edessa and Aleppo and killed him.
