Ara Khachatryan

Ara Khachatryan (Armenian Արա Խաչատրյան; born 13 September 1982) is an Armenian weightlifter.

Career

Ara Khachatryan participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he held until 77 kg finished seventh in the weight class with a total capacity of 353 kg after only two valid attempts.

He he won the bronze medal at the 2006 World Cup in the category up to 77 kg with a total capacity of 357 kg. At the European Championships Khachatryan took two silver medals in 2007 with 361 kg and again in 2008 with 361 kg.
