Arabsat 5A at 30.5 ° East is a television satellite of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization ( ARABSAT ) based in Riyadh.

He is the 5th generation of ARABSAT satellite fleet, was born on June 26, 2010 21:41 UTC launched by an Ariane 5 ECA and is intended to replace or supplement Arabsat 2B.
