Arachova (Greek Αράχωβα ( f sg ) ) is a Greek town and municipality founded in 2011 community Distomo - Arachova - Andikyra in the region of Central Greece. Traditions and popular activities are still very well maintained and celebrated by the inhabitants. The highlight is the traditional celebration of the feast day of Saint George, patron saint of the city, which usually takes place immediately after the Orthodox Easter and lasts three days. Traditional dances, sports events in remembrance of the Battle of Arachova against the Turks, as well as food and drink for all guests are included.

Typical products of the village are olive, formatting Ella (a traditional type of cheese that is only available in Arachova ), raki ( grape brandy ).

By Arachova national road leads 48 ( Europe Strasse 65 ), which connects Thebes and Livadia in the west with Amfissa and further east with Nafpaktos and Missolonghi. Both the west running from Arachova National Road 48 and extending east of Arachova National Road 48 represent pass roads, which lead Arachova or after Distomo ( East) or Delfi (west).
