Aramark is an international service companies in the areas of catering, hospitality and service management.

History

Aramark goes back to a vending machine service, the Davre Davidson founded in 1936 in Los Angeles. In 1959, Davidson teamed up with William Fishman and the company was renamed Automatic Retailers of America ( ARA). In 1994 the company was renamed in Aramark.

1959 has been expanded to Europe. One of the first activities was one of there machines operating on the premises of the Adam Opel AG in Rüsselsheim. First customer in the catering company catering in 1969, the Federal Ministry of Finance in Bonn.

2011 Aramark was elected " most sustainable companies in Germany " with the German Sustainability Award in the top 3 in the category.
