Arani, Bolivia

Arani is a country town in the Cochabamba Department in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Arani is the seat of government of the province of Arani and central place of the district ( bolivian: Municipio) Arani. The village is situated in the fertile plain of Vallo Alto at an altitude of 2747 m on the edge of the Cordillera Oriental, which rises immediately to the east of Arani to over 3,600 m.

Geography

Arani is located in the transition zone between the Andes mountain range, the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands.
