Araricá

Araricá is a town of 5,078 inhabitants in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. It is located about 60 km northeast of Porto Alegre. Adjacent are the places Novo Hamburgo, Sapiranga, Nova Hartz, Parobé and Taquara. Originally Araricá part of the municipalities Nova Hartz and Sapiranga.
