Arbaz

Arbaz is a municipality in the district immersion in the French speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

Geography

Arbaz is located on the northern side of the Rhône valley about 5 kilometers north of the capital of the canton customs. The highest point of the municipality lies south of the Wildhorn on the '' Col des Audannes at an altitude of 2886 m above sea level The municipality consists of the village of Arbaz and the settlements Le Lazier and Mayens- d'Arbaz. The neighboring communities of Arbaz are in northern and eastern Ayent, to the south and west Grimisuat Savièse.
