Arcadia is a city in Los Angeles County in the U.S. state of California, with 56,000 inhabitants ( 2004 estimate ). The geographic coordinates are: 34.13 ° N, 118.04 ° West. The metropolitan area has a size of 28.8 km ². The famous "Route 66" runs through the town. In Arcadia is the major horse racing track Santa Anita Park.
