Maximilian Eugen Ludwig Friedrich Philipp Ignatius Joseph Maria, Archduke of Austria ( born April 13, 1895 in Vienna, † 19 January 1952 in Nice; buried in the crypt of the castle church of St. Michael in Castle Altshausen )

Life

Maximilian was born as the son of Archduke Otto Franz Josef and Princess Maria Josepha of Saxony in Vienna. He was the only brother of Emperor Karl I

Its full title and name was "His Imperial and Royal Highness Archduke Maximilian Eugen Ludwig Friedrich Philipp Ignatius Joseph, Prince Royal of Hungary and Bohemia ."

He married Princess Franziska of Hohenlohe- Waldenburg - Schillingsfuerst, a daughter of Prince Konrad zu Hohenlohe- Waldenburg - Schillings prince and his wife Countess Franziska von Schönborn- Buchheim, on 29 November 1917 in Laxenburg near Vienna.
