Archibald Lyle

Archibald Lyle (* February 10, 1886, † unknown) was a Scottish football player.

Career

Lyle came in 1909 from Glasgow amateur club Maryhill to London at the Tottenham Hotspur in the Football League First Division. In his debut for the Spurs on 25 September 1909 against Sheffield Wednesday, when he represented on the side of Billy Minter Walter Tull inside forward, he was injured so badly that Tottenham refrained from a further obligation at end of season. About Lyles further whereabouts are unknown.
