Archives of Toxicology

Archives of Toxicology, abbreviated Arch Toxicol. , Is a monthly peer-reviewed journal. The magazine was founded in 1930 under the name of collection of cases of poisoning by Hermann Fühner and appeared once a year. With the belt 13 in 1944, the journal has been set and again in 1952. It was renamed in Archives of Toxicology and since 1975 it appears as Archives of Toxicology. From the collection of poisoning cases, the topic has expanded, now published articles cover the entire toxicology. From 1978 to 1998 once a supplement volume appeared in the year with its own ISSN number. (0171-9750), in the Proceedings of the EUROTOX Congress were published.

The impact factor of the journal was in 2012 at 5,215. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge, the journal impact factor with this in the category of toxicology is performed in sixth place of 85 magazines.
