The Archosauromorpha are an affinity group of diapsiden reptiles that belong to the archosaurs and various extinct reptiles groups that are more closely related to the archosaurs as the Lepidosauromorpha.

Among the diagnostic features of the group thecodonten teeth include (teeth in dental subjects), lack of a sternum, a joint between talus ( astragalus ) and calcaneus ( calcaneus ) within the tarsus and a hook-shaped fifth metatarsal bone, which is connected to the fourth metatarsal. Early Archosauromorpha had five toes with the following Phalangenformel: 2-3-4-5-4 (number of phalanges of each toe ). Her throat had seven to eight vertebrae.

All Archosauromorpha groups that do not belong to the taxon Archosauria, died, with the exception of Choristodera, during or at the end of the Triassic from. The Choristodera survived until the end of the Eocene. The only living today Archosauromorphen belong to the Archosauria groups of crocodiles and birds.
