Arcigay

Arcigay (it.: Associazione italiana gay lesbica e ) is the most important LGBT association in Italy.

The organization advocates for the civil rights of gay and bisexual people in Italy. Arcigay was founded in 1985 and had claims to 150,000 members in 2005. Chairman of Arcigay Paolo Patanè, honorary chairman is Franco Grillini.
