Arcole
Arcola is a town in the Italian province of Verona, region Veneto. The village with 6263 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) is located at an altitude of 27 m asl and extends over 18.81 km ².
The place was known primarily for the Battle of Arcole, which took place in 1796 between the French and the Austrians.
