The Arctic Bay Airport ( IATA: YAB ) is 2.2 km southeast of the settlement Arctic Bay, Nunavut, Canada.

By 12 January 2010, about 30 km from the airport Nanisivik was served. On 13 January 2010, the First Air moved all flights to Arctic Bay airport, which was enlarged and flies Iqaluit and Resolute Bay. The mayor of the municipality, Niore Iqalukjuak, said that the move to the airport every inhabitant benefits with a savings of CAD 40 per flight, as the taxi is not necessary. At the same time emphasized the Nunavut government that the state annually 600,000 CAD saves, because the road to Arctic Bay thus not constantly have to be passable.

2010 was the start and runway, which at that time had a length of 457 meters, the shortest in Nunavut. South of the runway, a new airstrip was built, which has a length of 1199 m. Also, the airport building was built.
