Ardabil rug

The Ardabil carpet is a famous type of Ardabil and of the province on the Caspian Sea in Iran.

The Ardabil carpet reminds with its patterns of Caucasian carpets as that of the historical region of Shirvan, Nagorno-Karabakh and Ganja in Azerbaijan, with more motifs and objects woven into the carpet side ends.
