Arden Municipality

Arden Commune was until December 2006 a Danish community in what was then North Amt in the north of Jutland. Since January 2007, together with the former municipalities Ebeltoft, Hobro and Mariager (without the electoral district Havndal ), as well as the school district Hvilsom the municipality Aalestrup and the place Hannerupgård the municipality Nørager the new Commune Mariagerfjord.

Arden municipality was created in the course of administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn:
