Ardian Kozniku

Adrian Kozniku ( born October 23, 1967 in Đakovica, SFR Yugoslavia), today Kosovo, first name also Ardian or Adrijan, is a former Croatian football player of Albanian origin.

The striker played in the highest league of Yugoslavia, Croatia, France and Cyprus and has a total of four times Champions, two Cup Winners' Cup once and scorer.

Career

Koznikus career in professional football began in the season 1988/89 when KF Prishtina in the second Yugoslav league. In 1990 he moved to first division club Hajduk Split where he was 1991 Yugoslav Cup Winners' Cup and 1992 and 1994 Croatian champion and 1993 Croatian Cup winners. In 1994, it signed the AS Cannes, where he among other things, stood with Patrick Vieira and Johan Micoud in a team. Following the station Le Havre AC, he spent half a year each for Cypriot club APOEL Nicosia and then to Corsica for SC Bastia. Back in Croatia, he won twice with Dinamo Zagreb, the Croatian Championship and played from 1998 to 2000 in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. After a spell at FC Kärnten in the second division of Austria, he ran to the end of his career for Hrvatski Dragovoljac Zagreb. Overall, he completed 245 first division and 65 second division matches and scored 94 goals in the first and 17 goals in the second division.

In the Croatian national Kozniku debuted on 20 April 1994 in Bratislava against Slovakia and participated in the 1998 World Cup, but was not used in the final tournament. Overall, he completed seven games for Croatia, scoring two goals.
