Ardico Magnini

Ardico Magnini ( born October 21, 1928 in Pistoia, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer. With the national team of his native country, he participated in the World Cup 1954.

Biography

Club career

Ardico Mangini began his football career in his native city of Pistoia, where he already played in youth for U.S. Pistoiese. In 1957 he was inducted into the first team, which was playing in Serie B. In Pistoiese he acted first as a midfielder, but after he had left the now third-rate U.S. Pistoiese two years later and had moved to Fiorentina, should change. In Florence he played at the position of the defense and saw there his most successful period. On January 21, 1951, he was the 2-0 victory against Napoli made ​​his debut and scored a little later on June 17 against Udinese Calcio his first goal in Serie A. National
