Aref Arefkia

Aref Arefkia called Aref (Persian عارف ) ( m * August 10, 1941 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian singer.

Life

Aref first contact with music came in part by his Azerbaijani mother, who heard in his childhood Radio Baku. Radio Baku played at this time in addition to typical Azeri and Western European music and operas. In the 1960s, Aref was among the first, the linked Western melodies with romantic lyrics and made known in Iran. After the Islamic revolution Aref left Iran and went to London and Los Angeles. He has a son and three daughters.
