Arend De Keysere

Arend De Keysere ( Arnoldus Caesar, Arnoul de Keysere; * around 1450 in Ghent, † 1490 ) was a printer of incunabula in Flanders.

De Keysere, who probably got his training as a printer in France, began in 1480 to print in Oudenaarde. Lived from 1483 to his death in 1490 and he worked in Ghent.

De Keysere has produced the following works: a total of 33 works, including 13 letters of indulgence, 9 theological works and 5 official prints. 23 of these works were in Latin, 8 in Dutch and 3 in French written. Two works are provided with woodcuts.
