Arendsee-Kalbe

In the administration of Community Arendsee - calving in the Altmark Salzwedel in the northwest of the state of Saxony- Anhalt 2009 17 municipalities were merged to 31 December. Office of the Management Community was the city Arendsee ( Altmark).

The management community was founded on 1 January 2005 by the merger of the defunct administrative Communities Kalbe (Milde ) and Arendsee / Altmark and the surrounding area as well as the communities Brunaupark, Jeetze, Packebusch and Vienau from the dissolved administration Altmark Community Center.

On 1 January 2009 the municipalities Altmersleben, Güssefeld, Kahrstedt, Neuendorf am Damm, Wernstedt and Winkelstedt were incorporated to Kalbe (Milde ), the number of member municipalities was reduced from 23 to 17

Extensive field changes took place on 1 January 2010. The two united communities Kalbe (Milde ) and Arendsee (Altmark ) where created. The management community was dissolved in this course. The municipalities binding, Höwisch, Kaulitz, Kerkau, Kläden, Kleinau, Leppin, newcomers, Sanne - Kerkuhn, Schrampe, Thielbeer and Ziemendorf were incorporated into the city Arendsee ( Altmark). Binding, Kaulitz and Kerkau were previously a member municipalities of the administrative community Salzwedel country. The communities Brunaupark, Engersen, Jeetze, Packebusch, Kakerbeck and Vienau became districts of the town Kalbe (Milde ).
