Argenschwang
Argenschwang is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Rüdesheim.
Geography
Argenschwang located in the southern Hunsrück between the Soonwaldsteig and Gauch forest, at 361 meters high Geisberg.
To Argenschwang includes the residential places Webermühle and Wiesenhof.
History
The place was first mentioned in documents as Hausen in 1127. This place-name was in use until the 16th century.

Culture and sights
The Argenschwang castle was built in the 12th century by the Counts of Sponheim.
