The Argolic Gulf (Greek Argolikos kolpos Αργολικός κόλπος ) is a bay of the Myrtoischen Sea, a marginal sea of the Mediterranean. It is located east of the Peloponnese peninsula, to the east between the Argolid, after which it is named, and the arcadian - Laconian coast to the west. At its north end opens out of the plane at Argos Inachus the river into the Gulf of Argolis, the largest settlement along its coast is the former capital of Greece Nafplio; a well-known seaside resort on its eastern coast of Tolo. The archaeological site of Lerna is one of the oldest documented settlement sites of ancient Greece on the west coast of the Gulf.

In the Gulf of Argolis are some smaller, uninhabited islands ( including Bourtzi, Romvi, platia and Psilli ), the largest and only inhabited Spetses is at its southeast end. Spetses and the other islands around the Argolic peninsula administratively all belong to the Prefecture of Piraeus district are grouped together with the islands of the Saronic Gulf, the term Argosaronische Islands (Greek Nisia tou Argosaronikou Νησιά του Αργοσαρωνικού ).
