Argus (son of Arestor)

Argos (Greek Ἄργος ) was in Greek mythology, one of the heroes of the Argonauts. He built the Argo, that fabulously fast ship, with which the Argonauts went in search of the Golden Fleece.

Argos ' parents were King Phrixus and Chalciope. His mother Chalciope turn was the younger daughter of Aeetes, king of Colchis and owner of the Golden Fleece. By Argos joined the Argonauts, he thus deprived ultimately own grandfather.
