Arhavi ( Laz: Ark'abi, georgian არქაბი, Arkabi ) is a city in the province of Artvin on the northeastern Black Sea in Turkey. The city Arhavi which lies on the coast of the Black Sea, has 15.362 inhabitants, the entire county Arhavi 19,132 (as of 2009 ). To the west of the county borders the province of Rize. The land rises steeply from the coast up to 3000 meters. High mountains of the district are Çatalkaya ( 2985 m), Koyunyayla (2292 m), Mete ( 2142 m) and Dikme ( 2068 m). The only river is the same Arhavifluss.

A significant part of the population are hydrolases.

Every year in Arhavi held a festival which is very popular with the residents. The festival usually takes 3-4 days. In the morning, there are competitions in which every citizen can participate, and in the evening there are concerts of famous and popular singers.
