Ari Suhonen

Ari Suhonen ( born December 19, 1965 in Porvoo ) is a Finnish former middle distance runner.

He won a total of 22 national titles outdoors and indoors. Between 1985 and 1993, he was alone in the 800 -meter run nine consecutive times Finnish champion. His biggest international successes came at Indoor Athletics Championships. About 800 m 1987, he won the bronze medal in Liévin and in the 1500 meter race he won in 1988 in Budapest the title. He also won at the Universiade 1989 in Duisburg in the 800 -meter run.

Ari Suhonen is 1,85 m tall and had a competition weight of 68 kg.
