Aria (guitar company)

The Aria & Co. Inc. is a Japanese guitar brand that was founded in 1956 by Shiro Arai (* 1930). The company is still run by him.

Shiro began in the 50s with the import of guitars (mostly Fender ) to Japan, as instruments in this time were hard to come by. As demand grew, he founded the company in 1956 Aria & Co. Inc. known models from the early 60s are the 1532T and 1802T which. Later in the 60s and Semi- Acoustic and Bass Guitars by Aria were produced.
