Ariane Ehrat

Ariane Ehrat ( born February 17, 1961 in Schaffhausen ) is a Swiss former ski racer.

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo she missed the podium by only scarce and was fourth in the downhill. A year later she won at the World Ski Championships in Santa Caterina, coinciding with Catherine Good Son and behind Michela Figini, the silver medal in the downhill. In Skiweltcup they could never win a race. Overall, they achieved three podiums and nine other placements in the top ten in downhill and super -G.

Since her retirement she has worked in marketing. From 1989 she was head of marketing of tourism destination "Alpine Arena " ( Flims -Laax -Falera ). In June 2004, she was head of the " Communication and Marketing " by Swiss Radio DRS. Since 1 January 2008 it has been the CEO of Engadine-St. Moritz tourism.
