Arianna Follis

Arianna Follis ( born November 11, 1977 in Ivrea ) is an Italian cross country skier and ski mountaineer.

At Olympic Games she won in Turin in 2006 with the relay bronze medal. Four years later she won two fourth places in the sprint and the team sprint competition.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf, she won bronze in the relay. Another bronze medal she reached at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo 10 km free style. It reached its greatest success at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec by winning the gold medal in the sprint competition. In the team sprint nor was added a bronze medal. Two years later she won the silver medal in the sprint competition at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo.

In ski mountaineering reached at the 2003 Trofeo Mezzalama with Chiara Raso and Cristina Favre- Moretti first place.
