Arietids

The Arietids is an active from May 22 to July 2 meteor stream, which reaches its maximum on June 7. Since the Arietids in Central Europe only during the day to find above the horizon, can not be observed with the naked eye it up there. They can be registered only with the help of radio waves.

If meteors enter the atmosphere, they leave behind short-lived ionized tracks, which reflect certain radio waves well. The use of suitable radio resources, the reflected signals from the ionisation by means of detectors can be registered.
