Arik Braun ( born February 8, 1988 in Aresing ) is a German chess player.

Brown became Junior World Champion in the U18 class and in February 2009 German Champion in October 2006. In the Chess League, he plays for the club Epping, in the Austrian Bundesliga for the first SK Hohenems.

Chess career

The chess games he learned at age five and later joined his hometown club SV Backnang. In various ages, he was German Youth Champion: 1997 U11, 2000 U12, 2003 U18.
