Alpine slug ( Arion obesoductus )

The Alps - slug ( Arion Arion alpinus obesoductus = auct. Pollonera non ) is a nudibranch of the family of slugs ( Arionidae ) that is provided to the subordination of terrestrial snails ( gastropod ). It is a fairly rare type that occurs in the Alps and adjacent mountain ranges.

Features

The Alps slug is stretched about 2 to 3 cm long. The animal is yellowish brown to olive brown. Two brown stripes on the sides to pull up to the mantle shield. The shell plate is relatively short (about 1 /4 of the body length). On the mantle shield run two more brown stripe, the right strip runs in an arc above the breathing hole. The sole is intensely yellow.

Lifestyle and deposits
