Arisnoidys Despaigne

Arisnoide Despaigne ( born 1986 in Santiago de Cuba ) is a Cuban boxer. He became in 2013 Vice - welterweight champion

Career

Arisnoide Despaigne began as a teenager in his hometown of Santiago de Cuba with the boxes. In the Youth and Adolescence he does not yet managed to establish itself in the Cuban world-class boxers. After his move to the men he took over in 2005, the first part in a Cuban championship. It started here in the light welterweight, but lost in the second round against Estenio Guiterrez, finishing in 9th place. In 2006 he started at the 3rd Cuban Olympiad in Havana, one of the most important tournaments in Cuba. But he again lost in the second round and that against his fellow countryman Yudel Jhonson.

2007 won Arisnoide Despaigne the first medal at a Cuban championship. He came in to light welterweight in the semifinals, where he lost to Richard Poll on points ( 9:19 ). In the Cuban Championship 2008, he moved to escape the constant detraining, in a higher weight class, but not in the nächsthöhrere, the welterweight division, but equal in the middleweight division. He made it equal to the jump in the final. In which he against Emilio Correa was no chance of victory, however, and high for points ( 1:19 ) lost. In the semifinals before him a remarkable victory over Rey Eduardo Recio ( 24:7 ) was successful.

In 2011, he lost in the finals of the Cuban championship against Carlos Banteur by points ( 9:15 ). In December 2012, Arisnoide Despaigne was then re- Cuban Vice- welterweight champion. In the final, he lost it against Rosniel Iglesias, who was a few months earlier become Olympic champion in the light welterweight in London, on points ( 7:20 ).

2013 succeeded Arisnoide Despaigne then also at the international level of breakthrough. In June this year he won the Giraldo Cordova Cardin Tournament in Havana, the most important Cuban welterweight tournament. On the way to win the tournament he hit it, inter alia, Gabriel Maestre, Venezuela, Islam Edisultanow, Russia and turn Rosnierl Iglesias. At the Pan American Championship in Santiago de Chila he came to a victory over Jamontay Clark from the United States. At the World Championships in Alamaty he welterweight victory over Hurschid Normatow, Uzbekistan (2:1), Ilyas Abbadi, Algeria (3-0), Custio Clayton, Canada ( 3-0), Aram Amirchanjan, Armenia ( 3-0) and Gabriel Maestre (3-0). In the final he lost to Danijar Jeleussinow from Kazakhstan (0:3), and thus became vice - world champion.
