Arizona State Route 386

The Arizona State Route 386 (abbreviated AZ 386 ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Arizona. It was opened in 1967.

The State Route begins near the Kitt Peak National Observatory and ends at the Arizona State Route 86 again. From 16 clock until sunrise the next morning the road is closed to public traffic, to prevent possible light disturbances that would interfere with the operation of the observatory.
