Arjan Beqaj

Arjan Nexhat Beqaj ( born August 20, 1976 in Prizren, SFR Yugoslavia) is an Albanian football player and currently plays as a professional at the Cypriot club Olympiakos Nicosia.

Beqaj began his career with the Albanian side FK Partizani Tirana. In 1997 he joined the Greek Super League OFI Crete to, for he could even score a goal during the 2000/ 01 season. In 2003, he joined the league rivals Ionikos Nikea before moving to Cyprus joining Anorthosis Famagusta 2006. With Famagusta he won the 2007 Cypriot Cup 2008 national championship.

He stood in all six qualifying matches for the UEFA Champions League 2008 /09 in goal and qualified with Famagusta after victories over FC Pyunik, Rapid Wien and Olympiakos Piraeus as the first Cypriot team for the main round of the UEFA Champions League.

For the 2010/2011 season he moved within the Cypriot League to Olympiakos Nicosia.

Arjan Beqaj was born in the then Yugoslav Prizren (Kosovo ), but playing for the Albanian national team. He graduated since 1998, a total of 37 international matches for the country.
